10,000 developers

10,000 developers

Two months ago, we hit 5,000 developers. Today, we just crossed 10,000.

We doubled in 10 weeks. No sales team. No paid ads.

Just developers building on WhatsApp and telling other developers about it.

What happened

Three days ago, we launched the Kapso CLI:

npm install -g @kapso/cli
kapso setup

Two commands and your AI agent has a WhatsApp number. The tweet hit 700K views. Thousands of developers signed up in days, more than in all of February and March combined.

Agents are coming for every channel, and WhatsApp with 3 billion users is the biggest one. There were ways to hack an agent onto WhatsApp before, but not on the official APIs, not reliably, and not in minutes.

What developers are building

Every day we see use cases we didn’t anticipate. Agents running dental clinics in Latin America. Ecommerce stores operating entirely over WhatsApp in Korea. Customer support agents handling conversations across Europe.

Whether you’re building with our API, designing workflows, managing conversations from our inbox, or using Kapso Agent Skills and the CLI to operate WhatsApp from OpenClaw, Kapso is the platform underneath.

The opportunity is massive, and most of the world hasn’t even started building on it yet.

What’s next

WhatsApp is becoming the operating system for how the world does business.

We’re building the infrastructure layer that makes it all work: the best way for agents and developers to build, ship, and operate on WhatsApp.

We have a lot to share soon.
