Kapso Playbooks, GPT-5.2, and more control over WhatsApp workflows

GPT-5.2 in Kapso Agent
The Kapso Agent now supports GPT-5.2 with configurable reasoning effort.
We’ve noticed that GPT-5.2 does a deeper exploration of the current state and documentation before making changes, making it more reliable.

Kapso Playbooks

Playbooks are pre-built prompts that you can send directly to the Kapso Agent.
Pick one, add your own context, and the agent already knows exactly what to build.
In the coming days and weeks, we’ll be adding more playbooks, including more complex use cases.
Find them in the new “Playbooks” section in your project sidebar.

More improvements
Workflows and Agents
- Agent pause and resume: agent nodes now have an
enter_waitingtool. The AI agent can call it to pause the workflow and enter waiting state without sending a message to the user via WhatsApp. - Wait for response timeouts: auto-continue if no reply, configurable from 10 seconds to 7 days.
- Jump to node: manually move a running execution to a different node from the inbox.
Workflows
- Broadcast scheduling: You can now schedule broadcasts to send at a future time. Use the new scheduling endpoint to set a date and time, then cancel anytime to return to draft.
- Cost tracking: You can now see total AI token costs in your workflow logs. Go to Workflow logs in the sidebar and filter by date, model, or resource.
API
- Conversation assignment filters: You can now filter conversations by assignee. Use
assigned_user_idto find a user’s conversations orunassigned=trueto find unassigned ones. - Get template by ID: You can now fetch a single WhatsApp template by its ID instead of listing all templates.
- Setup link language support: You can now set a
languagefield on setup links to display the onboarding page in your customer’s language. Supports English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Indonesian, and Arabic.
Features
- Project pages (experimental): Ask the Kapso Agent to build custom React pages for you. It can write the code, call your functions, and embed the result in the inbox sidebar.
- Webhook latency tracking: You can now see response times in milliseconds in your webhook delivery logs. Go to your webhook logs to monitor endpoint performance.
Webhooks
- WABA-level forwarding: Business account-level events from Meta are now properly routed to your webhook endpoints. If you use Meta-kind webhooks, account-level notifications like verification updates and name approvals are now forwarded correctly.
If you have any feedback, we’d love to hear it!
